Abstract

Electric vehicles (EVs) have emerged as a promising solution to mitigate the environmental impact of traditional combustion engine vehicles. This research paper explores the future scope of electric vehicles in India, focusing on the opportunities, challenges, and policy implications that will shape the trajectory of EV adoption. The paper examines the current state of the electric vehicle market in India, analyses key drivers and barriers across different segments of EV and the penetration of EV across different states in India.
