Abstract

The escalating importance of climate challenges and sustainability obligations has amplified the need for novel financial mechanisms to support environmentally sustainable projects. Green bonds function as a crucial tool for channeling investments into renewable energy, sustainable infrastructure, waste management, and carbon reduction efforts. This study examined the influence of green bonds on sustainable finance using quantitative data collected from a sample of 165 participants, including investors, financial professionals, and environmentally conscious individuals. Research indicates that green bonds are increasingly regarded as reliable instruments that reconcile financial returns with environmental impact. The findings demonstrated significant investor readiness to embrace green financial products; however, challenges including limited awareness and market transparency persist. This study emphasizes the potential of green bonds to initiate a new phase of environmental financing, underscoring the necessity of policy support, investor education, and international collaboration.
