Abstract

This study explores Organisational Innovation (OI) as a mediator in the relationship between Knowledge Management (KM) practices and Organisational Performance (OP), using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM). The study examines both the direct effects of selected KM practices on organisational performance and the indirect effects through organisational innovation. The findings indicate that Knowledge Management practices contribute more effectively to Organisational Performance. When Organisational Innovation acts as a mediator, particularly among employees in the Information Technology sector, it contributes more to performance. The study also identifies different perceptions among IT employees regarding organisational performance. Overall, the research highlights the importance of integrating knowledge management and innovation to improve organisational performance.
