Abstract

This article explores the role of entrepreneurship in promoting ecotourism as a sustainable development strategy in Biskra Province, a region rich in natural and cultural resources. Despite its potential, the sector faces major challenges, including poor infrastructure, limited institutional support, and bureaucratic barriers. Using a descriptive-analytical approach and 2023 field data, the study reveals that 62% of youth cite lack of financing as the main obstacle, while 28% point to administrative hurdles. The research recommends adopting a local ecotourism strategy, supporting green business incubators, enhancing training, and fostering collaboration among local actors
