Abstract

The convergence of financial investment and green finance has become a pivotal force in driving sustainable development. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, integrating bibliometric analysis, empirical research, and case-based insights to explore how financial tools and investment practices support environmental, social, and economic sustainability. The results emphasize the growing incorporation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria into sophisticated investment strategies and the increasing significance of green finance in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Quantitative data reveal the beneficial effects of green financial instruments, such as green bonds and ESG funds, on reducing carbon emissions, promoting renewable energy, and enhancing social equity. Supplementary case studies provide further examples of the effective application of green finance strategies and their policy implications. Despite these advancements, challenges remain, including regulatory inconsistencies, data limitations, and the potential for greenwashing. This research adds to the literature by charting evolving trends, pinpointing key gaps, and suggesting future research directions in sustainable finance and investment. In doing so, it highlights the transformative potential of financial innovation in fostering a more inclusive, resilient, and sustainable global economy.
